From the business
Our authentic Pakistani/North Indian Cuisine is healthful, slow-cooked, mildly spiced, and always made with love and integrity. Tender kababs and silken curries are our specialties. We also feature Pakistani street food and desi twists on burgers and wraps. And we have a large selection of gluten free entrees, vegetarian entrees and vegan options. Come try our chicken Memoni samosas (which got us into the Michelin Guide), our chicken tikka masala, our lamb spinach, our chicken boti sizzler ordered with our sheermal bread; our Beef Chapli burger and our Punjabi Chicken burgers with masala fries are big hits as well. Also, our weekend brunches (Halwa Puri Cholay; Spicy Omelet and paratha with kabab) are by far our most popular items among all diners. And of course, you must round out your next meal with our Rice pudding dessert, and our Mango Lassi. Plus, we cater! Zareen’s Catering (formerly Curried Away Catering) offers: * Corporate lunch catering: Multi-course lunch buffets that will have your team raving for weeks * Event catering: Elegant menus to fuel your next corporate or personal soiree. * Corporate Clients include: Google, Oracle, Shutterfly, Paypal, Microsoft, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Inphi, Hightail, Khosla Ventures, NEA, Nvidia, Intel, Square Trade, & Stanford Hospital

Special Note. We are open during Shelter in place for take outs and deliveries to serve our community and support our staff.
My family hails from Karachi and Punjab, and so, inevitably, food is an integral part of my life. My mother, my aunts, and my older sister, are all amazing cooks. I was lucky to have eaten their cooking and to have learned their art while still a teen.
After 10 years in Corporate America, I started Curry Village Foods in 2010 to give Pakistani and Indian food in the Bay Area an all-natural makeover. Sold out cooking classes in Saratoga led to gourmet kababs in Bay Area freezers. Then followed our catering service with a commitment to made from scratch lunches. In April 2014 we started our first restaurant in Mountain View. And in Oct 2016 we started Zareen’s Palo Alto.
