With more electronic devices being designed to use the wireless network, it is important to evaluate the network cabling prior to setting up a new system or device in an office. Newer kinds of data cabling can operate up to 10 gigabits. Fiber optic transmits light and not the regular data information, hence, it is much quicker. If there is a glaring advantage for wireless networks, it is that they are highly mobile. As to expandability, it is as simple as connecting a hub or router to an existing network cabling. Every router or hub is able to support 255 devices (even more).
